
Recovery from brain injury is different for everyone. For teens with mild injuries, they may seem like themselves again after a few weeks or months. For teens with more severe injuries, recovery takes longer.
Brain injuries are invisible. If you have a broken leg, friends know because you are wearing a cast. People can’t see a brain injury. The effects of your brain injury can be frustrating and hard to understand for you and other people.
In this program you will hear from other adolescents with TBI. They’ll talk about their experiences with brain injury and their roads to recovery.
Every teenager faces different problems after brain injury. Sometimes those problems are related to the teen’s injury and sometimes the problems are related to the stresses all teens face.
