When you feel a headache coming on, find a quiet, comfortable place to sit or lie down. Close your eyes – but not too tightly – and breathe in and out through your nose.

Imagine traveling inside your body to examine the pain. If the pain were in your foot, you could imagine traveling down through your thigh, past your knee and into your foot to where the pain is. If it’s a headache that is causing you pain, imagine being inside your head where the pain is located. Picture your pain as an ice cube and watch it melt away.
